Hi everyone! So nice to talk to you guys again. I thought you should learn a little bit about two places I have visited, New York and San Francisco. Those two cities are two amazing places, and I had a really great time there.
New York is the most populous city
in the United States and the center of the New York metropolitan area, the
premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States and one of the most
populous urban agglomerations in the world. New York is referred as New York
City and was settled in 1924.
Winters are cold and damp, and
prevailing wind patterns that blow offshore minimize the moderating effects of
the Atlantic Ocean, yet the Atlantic and the partial shielding from colder air
by the Appalachians keep the city warmer in the winter than inland North
American cities at similar or lesser latitudes such as Pittsburgh, Cincinnati,
and Indianapolis. The daily mean temperature in January, the area's coldest
month, is 0.3 °C, however, temperatures usually drop to −12 °C several times
per winter, and reach 10 °C several days each winter month. Spring and autumn
are unpredictable and can range from chilly to warm, although they are usually
mild with low humidity. Summers are typically warm to hot and humid, with July
daily mean temperature of 24.7 °C.
I thought it was really hard to find
population in New York but I found something on a website that may be correct.
“According to Census Bureau population estimates, New York City’s population
increased from 8,175,1331 in April of 2010 to 8,405,837 in July of
2013”.
When I was in New York I experienced
a lot of tourist attractions. Some of them are Times Square, The statue of
liberty, Central park and Brooklyn Bridge. I just have to say that, to see all
of that, oh my gosh, it was amazing!
San Francisco, is
the cultural center and a leading financial hub of the San Francisco Bay Area
and Northern California.
San Francisco is
The only consolidated city-county in California and it encompasses a land area
of about 46.9 square miles on the northern end of the San Francisco Peninsula.
San Francisco is a
popular tourist destination, known for its cool summers, fog, steep rolling
hills, eclectic mix of architecture, and landmarks including the Golden Gate
Bridge, cable cars, the former prison on Alcatraz Island, and its Chinatown
district. San Francisco is also the headquarters of five major banking institutions
and various other companies such as the Gap Inc., Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, Yelp, Pinterest, Twitter, Uber, Mozilla and Craigslist.
San Francisco's driest
month is June and it gets the least sun, with lots of fog that keep things
chilly. San Francisco is at its best in spring and fall, when skies are clearer
and rain less likely. The weather in San Francisco is almost always cool in the
evening, especially near the ocean.

Igjen, veldig bra skrevet, Hannah! Jeg ser virkelig at engelsk er noe du synes er gøy. Du har god grammatikk og flyt, og nå hadde du også med den innledningen jeg savnet fra forrige innlegg. Bra! Fortsett slik, lykke til videre :)
